When you deposited the money?
How you deposited the money?
And what was the amount?

I deposited the money in 2013. It was via wire transfer. About US$10K.

I managed to withdraw my money two weeks ago (3k USD).

I emailed the guy who is the contact of Direct FX for the FOS. How to have the data about this contact ?

Browse http://www.fos.org.au/resolving-disputes/before-you-lodge-a-dispute/#id=member-check ,
* click on "Check that your financial services provider is a member of FOS"
* search for direct fx
* look for the data for Direct FX Trading Pty Ltd.

You'll have the name of the contact of DirectFX for the FOS.

I received the money in a few hours.
I was happy (and lucky) but the way Direct FX handled my withdrawal (which was asked 1 month before) is really bad.

The email of Direct FX after my withdrawal was completed:
<<

After a week or so if they do not reply (and actually process the withdrawal), then you should file FPA traders court case.

They told me to go f___ myself or something close to that when I started asking some industry contacts if they were running a ponzi scheme. So...

1. So yes, go to the Australian FOS and file a dispute.
2. Also begin to file a FPA trader's court case.
3. Definitely leave an FPA review about your experience.

It seems like they will pay if you stay on top of them. It's still terrible customer service and I believe it to be a scam in that they hope you will just forget about it. Would you forget if you went to your bank and attempted to make a withdraw?
