Do you think forex is money factory

No doubt anybody can blow his account any time when he is not conscious about stops. If he is disciplined, he will use all possible managing tools to limit his loss. Even with high trading skills, nobody can gain unlimited profit from forex with using stop losses.

It is estimated that about four to five trillion dollars are traded everyday within this market. If you are talking about the shear volume, then yes it is a money factory. If you are talking about getting rich, then you need to be realistic. A lot of people have lost everything in it.

Why do you call the market a factory? Forex is market. A tool for redistributing money from the poor to the rich. Or from stupid to smart.

Nothing is a money factory, except of money factory. Forex is trading businesses; where you need to work as hard as possible, develop your skill and area of expertise. Money doesn’t come just right away, you still need to earn them and do not rely on luck or coincidence.

You can call Forex anything you wish to, but it all narrows down to how your operations take place. If you have a poor strategy and lack trading discipline, the nit would certainly be a losing factory. But if you've mastered the tips for making profit, then you are right to call it a money factory

Thoris, you made a very good note. I also believe that everything is related to traders skills, knowledge and experience. There are many opportunities on this market, but it is only question of traders skills if he would be able to exploit these opportunities to his own benefit
