ETORO.COM - BIGGEST CHEATER - NEVER INVEST IN THIS COMPANY (detected)

Hello guys here,

Im working in C50 (High-tech Crime Prevention Police Department) in Vietnam. Recently, I saw someone claming about a issue with a company named ETORO, has website : Etoro.com is the main one. Almost told that they cant withdraw money from their account when they make profit, that this company only refunded deposit amount, and close their accounts. So, I decided to investigate this company.

First, i openned an account with them, deposited 100 USD. After that, I tried to make a losing (anyway) to their minimum withdrawal requirement. Its 20. Then, I withdraw this 20 USD back to my account. They require me to upload a passport and a bill. I UPLOADED TO THEM A WRONG PASSPORT and a bill, to see my account to be locked.

Very strange that, my account was locked too, but they only sent me 20 USD (as usual must be the initial deposit of 100). Then they told that my account has not passed the verification (OKAY).

Someone complained about this company to me have made profit from their deposit, and its very strange that when they sent their correct passports and bills, they blocked their account with a reason "the ID has not passed". YOU KNOW WHAT ? They even do not accept me and them to verify our information before we deposit. They said "You must deposit then you can upload your passport and bill for us to have a look at". ITS CRAZY.

I thought, they wanna control our finance, then to see our money to dwindle away. if we lose and try to withdraw, they will send the remaining, but if we win, they will send the initial deposit only. This is a cheated working way of this company.

Besides that, they require clients to take notarised documents and something which is very complicated, cost money to verify account. I got an answer from a victim, said that even he took a notarised, they didnt accept it at all. This guy won so much, and tried to withdraw then saw this problem after sometimes successfully withdrew. They suddenly blocked his account, and told that "Your ID has not passed", although before that they accepted it and sent him some little profit.

So how do you think about this company ?

1. They tried to rip off your profit and your money by telling that "ID has not passed" then, if you win, they refund the initial deposit, if you lose, they sent only the remaining money in the account.

2. Do not accept us to verify account first, only do it after we deposit, then try to tell that our ID have not passed.

I suggest everybody keep staying away from this broker. This is a very big cheating broker.

Hi everyone,
I would like to leave my fwwdback of this broker. It is a totally scam broker!!!!!
I registered on their website in October this year and deposited $1000, after month tried to withdraw my deposit + some part of my profit (as for October I got 85% return on my $1000).... and here problem began.... I passed all veryfication and Etoro sent me email that they process my withdrawal request (made 9th of November) on 11th of November, however after two weeks from withdrawal of $1335 I received just $530 and somewhere $800. On Etoro terms and conditions is clearly stated that withdrawals took from 5 to 8 business days but even after that period of time money still not in the place where it should be. Right now I send them even copy of my bank statement to proove that I had not received anything.... I send my bank statement on 21st of November and still have not clear answer.....
Customer support just stated that I have done everything and now I should waite till their account department investigate but all of this take time.
As well, from the last week Etoro cancell customer support through phone which is where strange as for me, right now you can contact hem by email or live chat......
So to everyone who is looking for broker, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!

Working at C50?? Very funny! I don't trade with Etoro but i think your problem is "create multi accounts + wrong passport" => you want to cheat them.

Trading Forex is not protected by the law of Vietnam so that I have no reponsibility to interfere such problem. But this was a complain from an INVESTMENT CONSULTING COMPANY that their customer are having such problems and need to be solved, so that they make a complain to C50.

I so wish I would have found this website before joining etoro. I don't care what anyone says, this site is a scam and they won't release my withdrawal. Nothing new right?

Well I joined 6 months ago and played around with the stocks. I was $200 I gave them through my credit card and then paypal. After loosing about $10 on my initial $200 I decided to see what the withdrawal was like before I gave them anymore money. They had me complete the ID verification where I uploaded my passport, utility statement and my credit card and a few days later the money withdrew back where it should go.

Fast forward a month and I did three deposits of $100 and again played with the stocks while I was learning forex. I new the stocks were not real time so I bought and sold just before the batch order cut off and over a few weeks I made a few $160. So I decide the withdraw my profits and 4 days later they want me to send in my ID again and this time them wanted screen shots of my PayPal account and more information because it is a business PayPal account. In addition the LOCKED MY ACCOUNT. So I send it in including proof of my business and address.

Around and around we go and I still haven't gotten the withdrawal and my account is still locked. I have written customer service numerous times and it's just excuses and requests to send MORE information. Nothing has changed in my account so I don't understand what the problem could be.

So I know now that the withdrawal problem story is not new, but something I discovered why I was going through all their terms of use, legal and help files. It was in their terms of use under section 1. 1. SERVICES, REGISTRATION & ACCOUNTS that states the following:

IMPORTANT NOTE - ETORO DOES NOT ACCEPT ANY TRADING FROM CUSTOMERS IN THE USA, JAPAN,
CANADA, BRAZIL, TURKEY, NORTH KOREA OR IRAN.

Did I mention I am in Canada?

So if eToro does not accept accounts from mine and other countries list above, why are they letting us join, deposit money, and TRADE!

eToro is a scam. I have no doubt of that now and I never expect to see my money again, but that doesn't mean I will give up either. Yes, I am a Canadian Citizen, but I am also a British Citizen, so I will look into my rights to report this from a country that is a member of the European Union.
