I am testing all new robots against my Forex Acid Test - the Forex Acid Test is a back test run from January 2007 up to December 2009 using only $500 as the deposit.
Most if not all robots shows great results for $1,000, $5,000 or $10,000 deposits. BUT if you take that same robot and run it against the Forex Acid Test, most fail! A loss of $100 is only 1% on a $10,000 account but on a $500 account that is a fatal loss of 20% of the account in a single trade. Two or three consequtive losses and the account is virtually wiped!
