Hi FPA,

GREATE job, I appriciate, how you people help the traders otherwise they had no way to become help by cheating from some forex brokers. Mostly the webpages of forex brokers saying more then they are. Showing Dollar rotating on display and trying to attract the people to join them. "Beauty needs no environment".

Thanks FPA exist.

Bucketshops and their tricks

We as FPA members should individually open live accounts with scammers like this but never fund them.

That way we tie them up with loads of work but never let them see a hint of a credit card number.

If they were to email us (either in advertising, info or complaint form) then we start sending them en-mass 'bills' at $50 per email.

Trader/Broker

The best advice I can offer is to check a broker very carefully. Don't believe the advertising. Make sure the broker is a ECN (Elictronic Communications Network) broker. Then look into them closer. Being an ECN doesn't mean they will never cheat you, but it reduces the chances by 98%. An ECN should not have any effect on the spread, because the trades only flow through them, but a true ECN does not touch the trade. They do not trade against you. They do not trade at all. But they chage a commission per trade. That is where they make their profit. Believe me, paying a small commission is better than getting involved with a company that stretches the spread so you can't get out, or who takes your money.

FXCH Scam

Great job by FPA on this SCAM finding againt FXCH!

Whilst I have had no experience in using this firm, I was still, so disgusted at their behavior in this matter, I felt an impulse and compelled to say a few words on this issue to FXCH. So I went to their website and sent the following message via the online contact form:

Quote: 'It appears your firm got ****ed and blacklisted as a SCAM by the FPA for stealing client funds and charging excessive administrative charges to clients wishing to close their accounts or wanting to withdraw funds, and generally being unreasonably and irrationally obstructive.

I hope you go bust you theiving bunch of pricks!'

I trust the above summary is to eveyones satisfaction.

Regards,

The CFTC only regulates things in the USA. If you're a USA client of Forex-Swiss, go to IC3.gov and complain if you get ripped off. They are in charge of internet fraud against US citizens.

BTW, Forex-Swiss is about as Swiss as the Swiss cheese I buy at the grocery store. It's made in Wisconsin.
