UK IP and US NFP came out too close to expectations, so there was a bit of a whipsaw as somewhat expected. CAD Employment came out hugely low prompting a 100 pip rally in USD/CAD in 5 minutes. Hope you were ready for that... great quick trade.

No economic releases Monday, but the new US Treasury Secretary is set to unveil some of the details for the new administration's economic stimulus plan, so keep an ear to the newswires if you're trading during the NY session since the market's highly anticipating it. I feel the rally late last week was a bit of buy the rumor for this plan and we're well positioned to watch the markets sell the fact here as the details are finally released.
