Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Here are my long term results with the beta version of V3 and the new setting. So far, ok.

Remarkable, These are impressive results. Congratulations!
I see your trading, in this case, started on July 7th last year.
I must, however (as a word of caution) add that my results in the current version got me into a bad situation of 71 open trades (with the resulting negative swap fees) and a massive 55% drawdown over the same period.
All that seems to help is to set the EA to maximum 2 open trades in any direction (in the intermediate setting) and to close open trades over time to get out of this deep drawdown.
This EA, like all other grid systems, has proved itself as very risky and high management effort to really work (as in the intermediate setting one can manually set the EA to open more trades-at higher lot sizes- if the trend goes against one). That is a tough ask, let me tell you.
Whether it is a new version or not, that you are trading, it remains extremely limited in optimizing it to one's own broker's MT4. Therefore this EA remains a hard one to really produce good results.
By the way, how did you get V3 ahead of all the other paid-up users?

Yes, I also am sitting with a very big drawdown and closed one account. I am now trading out of the DD's by opening only those charts where I trade in the direction of the trade and the EA set to only max 3 open positions. With the profit generated in this way, I then slowly close old open trades where there is no chance of price moving in that way soon.
This, effectively, means that Forex Gump EA (in my 2 live accounts) will not grow much over the next 12 months.
Yes, bad year for this EA

I got the beta version of V3 for testing when I wanted new settings. The results are much better because it uses only one direction with 9 charts. I even found that when I use a higher time frame, the trades are more accurate on trend. I think if you ask for a V3 so they will provide it for you.

Hi RoboFX123, I trust that your results with V3 of the FG ea are still continuing in the same manner as per your post #61. I now obtained the V3 too and wish to start off with a small live account. May I ask (at this stage) which pairs (out of the 9 you are trading with) are currently showing the best results, lowest DD?

The best pairs are GBPUSD and USDCAD. I hope I helped.

I have finally dumped this EA after 2 full years of applying their trading rules to the letter. Unfortunately this EA builds up unacceptable drawdowns that eventually turns it into a unproductive EA building up swap fees more than anything else. So sorry, but it is also a failure as with all other similar EA's.
