I have been demoing Hippo 1.1 for 3 months on Go markets and it has done a fantastic job. I don't use a stop loss as I have seen the trade always retraces. Does anybody have any experiance with Version 1.3. Is version 1.3 any better?

There is no version 1.3 yet. 1.2 is the latest one released in August 2010.

When running version 1.2 with default settings it gives exactly the same results as version 1.1.

I got hipp 1.2. just wonder is that possible to get 1.1?

Just run with default settings on version 1.2. That gives the same results as version 1.1.

Dirk, your articles get through just fine. FPA only blocks and removes postings containing affiliate sales and illegal cracked copies of EA's. Good educational material like this is of benefit to all of us.

I've been talking with Matt Robinson about setting up the Hippo Reverse Mode to do exactly this. It should be an easy conversion and add trades and pips to the strategy. It would be nice if this could be done like Megadroid's aggressive mode, where both strategies are built into the one EA with seperate magic numbers, and can both be run simultaneously.

There are a few problems with the way Reverse Mode works now, but I've been working on the systems and he seems very interested. Hopefuly this will work succesfuly, it hard to tell exactly, planing a purely mechanical system for automation is much different than one for discretionary human use, and considerig the track record of all the EA programers on the development boards I have to wonder.

watching the FPA demo results the H is a great EA. Good to be here and can´t wait see him trading hopefuly on monday at my account.
So you do a lot of testing and coding? now.... damn good to have you here man..... because of all this I think the H will be my No. One EA soon, good for business too.
Havin trouble with MD last few weeks thought my business won´t start. Now he is workin properly again AND The H at my side..... damn, business will be much easier to develop and start. Thanks guys and

watta quickie...... sent my money for account funding yesterday morning, today I recieved a message from Alpari that my account has been funded.........
It´s now 13.59pm so I won´t set up The H now because of avoid trades for the few hours left today.
Anybody here who can tell me how to handle best the Friday setting? Avoid it or set an hour or......

The H is set up by default, using 0,02 lotsize and for EURGBP 0.01 lotsize....
he´s connected to myfxbook.................
