I am currently a live account user and can shed some light

Hello,
Up until recently I have been a happy fxopen user. All of a sudden though, I had a trade that was in positive pippage and had a tp set for another 28 pips. I leave for work and come back and fxopen has arbitrarily closed my trade negating my 28 pips. I have emailed them 2 times in 4 days with no response yet. I will wait another day or 2 and send another email. Then I will be left with no choice but to submit a scam resolution and discontinue my relationship with them. Very suspicious behavior that should have been easily resolved by now. I would warn people to be very careful and first check to see how helpful or unhelpful customer service is when you have a problem.

Who Executes Your Orders?

Hi Mahsam. Your answers as follows..

1. Dealing Desk.

For Standard and Micro accounts there is a dealing desk.

2. No Dealing Desk

For ECN accounts there is no Dealing Desk involved.

Who is quoting the rates, my broker, a bank, or multiple banks?

FXOpen's quotes come from multiple sources and on ECN accounts, direct from the Interbank market.

Are the spreads fixed of variable?

Spread is fixed from 2 pips on majors for Standard and micro accounts. ECN accounts have variable spread plus commission.

How tight are the spreads?

From 2 pips on majors for DD accounts. ECN accounts are interbank spread so you can get 0.5 pips or even negative spread.

Do you offer Fractional Pip Pricing?

In ECN accounts yes.

Are there any trading restrictions?

No, but if your strategy is incompatible with the dealing desk you may be asked to move to ECN.

Can I place orders inside the Spread?

On ECN, yes

Can I earn interest on positive rolls?

Yes

Can I earn positive rolls at all margin levels?

Yes

Are rollover rates displayed prominently? Where?

Yes. In MT4 using the market watch window.

Does the trading platform allow me to hedge?

I'm looking for an offshore ECN broker and have been running a demo account on FXOpen in hopes they may work out. From what I have seen there are pros and cons about using them and per a post from the Admin it looks like the main source of the bad reviews has been discredited.

Any new news from the Admin or anybody on this board about FXOpen, pro or con?

The demo account is running fine. I just don't want to open a live account and make some profits only to find out that I can't withdraw the funds when I want to.

FXOpen for USA

I've been researching FX Open for a while, and am considering opening an account. I've seen some negative reviews here, and there for US based customers. How are people in the USA doing?

Going "offshore" is the only option for US based traders who want the freedom to trade as they want to. That is being able to hedge or to be able to close their orders in any order they wish, not be forced into FIFO execution.

fxopen renders my account invalid

after i had lost more than $150, i was left with $2.22 in my fxopen account. all of a sudden i could not log into my account(179567) any more. my balance of $2.22 was gone because the reply i got from thier finance dept was that i should open a new account. i wish i had searched forums to know the deeds of fxopen. now i dont know which broker to use anymore. can someone recommend any good one?

Hi vboy.

If an account has less than $50 and no transactions are made on it for 3 months or more, it is marked "dormant" and placed into archives. For long term dormant accounts, a fee can be charged (up to $50) to extract the information from the archives and restore the account.

To avoid this happening in the future you should try to make at least one transaction every 3 months.

I wonder why there is not a more thorough discussion on fxopen for a broker.

they ahve been there since 2005 and boasting 10's of thousands of mini and micro and other accounts.i came here looking at forexpeacearmy to find more about fxopen as a broker but found every little.

I would like if there is mroe feedback positive and negative too if there is any so i can make decision as an IB fro my clients if to go for fxopen or not!

Fxopen is A big scam,they are fault finders & liers.They deleted some of the money I had already made, from my acc on Feb 5th,2010,without any reason.,& then later closed all my opened trades at negatives without any reasons.Pls did fxopen have any rights at all to touch & manupulate my live fx acc?
I complained & wrote them only to replied me that it was bc I used EA.but since d begining of this yr 2010 I have never used any EA.,I stoped using EA since Nov 6th 2009 last yr,so fxopen should go back to my acc history u will see it there,I did not at all use any EA for any of my trade this yr 2010.

My micro live acc nos is A/C No: 220904 & password is :1969brighter ,Server:fxopen real2,pls let everybody go & check it by placing ur cusor on each of d profits made at d acc history,it will show u either ,TP if manually placed,or with "Has Directional EA" which I used last since Nov 6th 2009,I stoped using EA since last yr bc it has nerver done me more good than distroying my acc.

1stly,On jan 4th 2010 at 20:51hrs fxopen time,I deposited $5.94,to my acc b4 lossing all d money by jan 11th 2010,fxopen should go back to my acc history all those trade were manually placed & closed by myself or at TP.

2ndly,On Monday Jan 11th 2010 at 20.29 Fxopen time,I deposited $2.18(218cents)+12.85cents my acc balance,My acc total was 230.85cents,with this,from wednessday Jan 13th 2010 to Feb 3rd 2010,I manually placed & traded 20trades,17 trades were Totalprofits=566.28cents, while only 3trades were Total loose=416.05cents,will my acc total balance was 140.23cents.fxopen should go back to my acc history all those trade were manually placed & closed by myself or at TP.

3rdly,On Feb 3rd at 21.28hrs Fxopen time,I deposited another $11.48(1148cents) to my acc,raising my acc total balance =1288.23,Then from that same wednessday feb 3rd 2010 to friday feb 5th 2010,I manually palced & traded about29trades,1 trade Audusd 0.50 lots size, enter@0.8610,with 40pip TP@0.8570(pls how much have I made with this 40pips?let somebody help me to calculate it) but my profits 40pips made was deleted by fxopen @0.8610 i.e.40pips after my TP has been closed.27trades were all positively closed with totalprofits=3624.5214cents +1288.23(in my acc balanced b4 trading)Total profits=4912.7514.But I clearly remember that my acc balanced was 5,000cents & above (when u add the 40pips that was deleted by fxopen)b4 the end of that friday .fxopen should to go back to my acc history all those trade were manually placed & closed by myself or at TP.And due to that ,I placed another 9 trades,but to my suprised Fxopen have to go & closed all my 9 trades.Pls did fxopen have any rights at all to touch & manupulate my live fx acc?

U stupid lier,since u can cheat am not suprised that u lied that I had used EA for those trades,ur lie can not work here bcI had stoped using EA since Nov 6th 2009 last yr,so go back to my acc history u will see it there,
I did not u any EA for any of my trade since the beging of this new year 2010,all my trades as always being manually placed & closed by myself or at TP.u lier go back to my acc history & check it ur self from the begining of this yr,

1stly,On jan 4th 2010 at 20:51hrs ur time,I deposited $5.94,to my acc b4 lossing all d money by jan 11th 2010,go back to my acc history all those trade were manually placed & closed by myself or at TP.

2ndly,On Jan 11th 2010 at 20.29 ur time,I deposited $2.18 to my acc,go back to my acc history all those trade were manually placed & closed by myself or at TP.

3rdly,On Feb 3rd at 21.28hrs ur time,I deposited $11.48 to my acc,go back to my acc history all those trade were manually placed & closed by myself or at TP.

4tly,Goback & check my acc history.I had being making consistent profit since Jan 11th 2010 to Feb 5th 2010 at 20:17hrs ur time,which was my last closed trade by myself on last wk friday.But I imidiately opened some new trade
ticket 5157098,5157112,5157122,5157133,5157136,5157141,5157150,5157156,5157165 but to my own suprised at about 1hr:30mint later,of opening those tades, d 1st 3trades were closed,by ur poeple on that same day,& the rest were closed on monday 8th yesterday,go back to my acc history all those trade were manually placed but closed by u poeple.So pls refund all my money back to my acc now & stop lieing which u have no prove to back up ,go back to my acc history all those trade were manually placed

FXOPEN IS A BIG Scamer

I've been researching FX Open for a while, and am considering opening an account. I've seen some negative reviews here, and there for US based customers. How are people in the USA doing?

Fxopen is A big scam,they are fault finders & liers.They deleted some of the money I had already made, from my acc on Feb 5th,2010,without any reason.,& then later closed all my opened trades at negatives without any reasons.Pls did fxopen have any rights at all to touch & manupulate my live fx acc?
I complained & wrote them only to replied me that it was bc I used EA.but since d begining of this yr 2010 I have never used any EA.,I stoped using EA since Nov 6th 2009 last yr,so fxopen should go back to my acc history u will see it there,I did not at all use any EA for any of my trade this yr 2010.

My micro live acc nos is A/C No: 220904 & password is :1969brighter ,Server:fxopen real2,pls let everybody go & check it by placing ur cusor on each of d profits made at d acc history,it will show u either ,TP if manually placed,or with "Has Directional EA" which I used last since Nov 6th 2009,I stoped using EA since last yr bc it has nerver done me more good than distroying my acc.

1stly,On jan 4th 2010 at 20:51hrs fxopen time,I deposited $5.94,to my acc b4 lossing all d money by jan 11th 2010,fxopen should go back to my acc history all those trade were manually placed & closed by myself or at TP.

2ndly,On Monday Jan 11th 2010 at 20.29 Fxopen time,I deposited $2.18(218cents)+12.85cents my acc balance,My acc total was 230.85cents,with this,from wednessday Jan 13th 2010 to Feb 3rd 2010,I manually placed & traded 20trades,17 trades were Totalprofits=566.28cents, while only 3trades were Total loose=416.05cents,will my acc total balance was 140.23cents.fxopen should go back to my acc history all those trade were manually placed & closed by myself or at TP.

3rdly,On Feb 3rd at 21.28hrs Fxopen time,I deposited another $11.48(1148cents) to my acc,raising my acc total balance =1288.23,Then from that same wednessday feb 3rd 2010 to friday feb 5th 2010,I manually palced & traded about29trades,1 trade Audusd 0.50 lots size, enter@0.8610,with 40pip TP@0.8570(pls how much have I made with this 40pips?let somebody help me to calculate it) but my profits 40pips made was deleted by fxopen @0.8610 i.e.40pips after my TP has been closed.27trades were all positively closed with totalprofits=3624.5214cents +1288.23(in my acc balanced b4 trading)Total profits=4912.7514.But I clearly remember that my acc balanced was 5,000cents & above (when u add the 40pips that was deleted by fxopen)b4 the end of that friday .fxopen should to go back to my acc history all those trade were manually placed & closed by myself or at TP.And due to that ,I placed another 9 trades,but to my suprised Fxopen have to go & closed all my 9 trades.Pls did fxopen have any rights at all to touch & manupulate my live fx acc?

4tly,Fxopen & all FPA should pls Go back & check my acc history.I had being making consistent profit since Jan 11th 2010 to Feb 5th 2010 at 20:17hrs fxopen time,which was my last closed trade by myself on that friday feb 5th 2010.

2. Description of the problem/Subject: You have cheated me ,why did u closed my all my opened 9trades on friday evening?So pls explain d major reason for closing all my opened trades refund my money back to my acc.

Then,almost 2hrs later after leaving the cafe, u dicided to closed my below 3 opened trade by ur self & on monday u closed the remaining opened 6 trades,bc of ur wickedness.So pls return my money back to my acc b4 I report ur wicked act to FPA.What u dont know is that,I browse always at cafe & u can ask any body in Nigeria All cafe here in Nigeria must closed down every day by 8pm/20hrs & (u are 1hr head of Nigeria Time Zone which is ur 9pm/21hrs)of the day according to government regulations throughout Nigeria here.So I had already left cafe b4 8pm/20hrs which is ur 21hrs/9pm,u can see my last closed trade, was closed at ur Time 20:47hrs/8:47pm which is Nigeria Time 19:47hrs/7:47hrs.
Since I did not used Stop loss & I had already left cafe ,then tell me how can my below 3 opened trade closed by itself after 1hrs:22/3mints of my leaving cafe & closing my last trade,without u closing it?U have done the greatest mistakes of ur life by touching & manupulating my live acc.So pls & pls am a peaceful loving guy,if u dont want me to report u to FPA & other necessary other necessary agency or bodies,make sure u resolve this isssue with me peacefully by refunding all my money back to my acc b4 wednessday morning.U dont have problem with me but ur reply & action either negative or positive will detamined what action I my self will take to handle u.this email will also serve as proof apart from my acc daily trading report from u.The below are my 3 closed trade on friday & u have all ready closed the reaing 6 opened trade again today u can check my acc now
