    Hi all

can some please explain in simple terms if possible what exatley is happening behind the scene when say EUR/USD goes up (bull)

What I don't quite understand is, is it people buying the Euro or is it people buying the USD

I know this may seem a silly thing to ask but it is one thing I just can't quite picture

    Thanks
    Allan

If EUR/USD is going up, that means that people are buying the Euro and selling the US Dollar. That's bullish for the Euro and bearish for the dollar.
