Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

In Serbia, police confiscated apartments and cars, while Bulgarian and Serbian police raided two alleged call centers. Meanwhile, German police reportedly confiscated almost 2.5 million euros from an account with the payment service provider WIRECARD.

FinCENFiles, just a fast look

“As a result, the secret documents show, banks frequently file suspicious activity reports only after a transaction or customer becomes the subject of a negative news article or a government inquiry — usually after the money is long gone.”

…well that we knew long time ago on FPA, that’s part of the Client agreement, no ? (sure whenever visited by some police, paperwork is ready instantly, just fix the dates….

“Yet as NoviRex moved millions of dollars through the global banking system, its financial statements — available online from Companies House — indicated it was basically moribund, spending less than $2,500 a year.”

...nothing new, for us

Look’s like some fun to come with these files, also considering the tiny percentage of the real flow....uhhh nasty stuff

Wirecard case: when financial supervisors become “heavy traders”

Bafin employees increasingly bet with Wirecard securities in 2020. Especially active with high risk derivatives: the department responsible for market surveillance and short selling. An internal special review of the deals is now underway

“In its answer to Stark-Watzinger, the Ministry of Finance stated that in the first six months of this year, eight Bafin employees across all departments had reported transactions with Wirecard derivatives. According to earlier information from Minister Olaf Scholz's (SPD) department, officials traded 27 different, sometimes highly speculative derivatives such as warrants, knock-out papers and turbo certificates in 2020. There was also an undisclosed number of so-called Contracts for Difference (CFD) - extremely risky leverage products, the trading of which the Bafin has restricted for private investors because it rates them as gamble.

If all reports from the financial supervisory authority to the ministry are correct and eight officials have processed 77 transactions with 27 different papers and CFDs within six months, there must have been some of them who have been active in the style of a professional trader and various securities within a short time has sold back and forth. Also noteworthy: The department heads or, in some cases, department heads who have to approve the employees' business apparently saw no problem in approving each and every one of them - including the CFDs, which in the event of a loss often lose more than the capital invested.
