Guilty.
The most kind of "scary" thing though that all regulatory bodies are silent.
I think that the reason is obvious - you deposited $500 and not $5 mil so no "fireworks" expected...
Just my humble opinion
Happy trading to all

Hi Dafox/ friends..

i am one of the Forexoma's victim as well. I am still want to invest in forex but this time i would be very careful in selecting brokers. Any idea of good and regulated broker so far?

thanks.

I don't think it's appropriate to offer you a broker.
However, browsing this site will help you which broker NOT to choose :)

I'm another sucker who was scammed by Vahid. Forexoma have got away with over GBP 1,000.00 of my money. I guess it's gone for good. I cannot even contact them anymore. Verdict is a resounding - GUILTY

Another rip-off. I'll echo the comments on being careful choosing your brokers. I got burned by one before joining FPA. If I may suggest to all. Choose a broker that excepts PayPal, and has good reviews on FPA. Deposit a small amount. One that will not kill you to loose. In the first 45 days, do all the different transactions that you will ever haft to do. If you have a problem, contact PayPal. PayPal will try to resolve the issue, and no legitimate business wants to get on PayPal's shi_list. Also let FPA know whats going on with your problem. FPA will keep its members in the know.
A brief background of my experience. After I got burned the first time. I got another broker, deposited $1000.00, made several trades, mostly bad ones. Two weeks later, I requested $750.00 withdrawal from my account. It was promptly sent to my PayPal account. This left only $51.56 in my brokers account. I turned that $750 around with another $1000 and sent it back to the broker. Have not had a problem at all with this broker. I'm not going to say what broker, so you don't think I am advertising for that broker. Bottom line, research, take time to feel the broker out with smaller amount of funds. Once your comfortable with the broker, press on. Have a good day.

A verdict that will result in one broker being labelled as a scam is not the place that any good and regulated broker would want their company's name on display. If you want to go broker shopping, start here:

I like the quote "don't ever let your guard down as a good broker could turn bad..."

Sometimes jumping in and pulling your money out at the first sign of trouble can save you. Sadly, other times the first sign of trouble is like Forexoma - no responses to withdrawals and messages followed by shutdown.

I too am a victim of Forexoma and also have a opened case with them. Dafox, you got my vote on this:

Guilty!!

Hi.. Thanks for the good advices Pharaoh. I lost my money and we all (most of us) lost our money in Forexoma/Vahid, so I will be very careful next time. Thanks to all contributed here.

I have entered a guilty vote as their guilt seems pretty solid to me. If they were to be just insolvent rather than insolvent and a scam, they would have appointed an insolvency specialist to collect in the assets and distribute such funds as there maybe. Forexoma.com has a lot of positive goodwill and would have been worth quite a lot. This could have been sold to help pay some of the debts including the money owed to traders.
