Hi All

Just joined up another complete newbie lol

I have done a search and as usual with such things pages of links, does anyone know of a thread where people have posted about their personal experiences regarding brokers,

I am currently researching this and if there is a link to a thread on this it would be very useful, I am currently expecting to spend at least several days looking into this extremely important decision, watched a great video yesterday and pretty much know now what to look for, but peoples own personal experiences go a long way.

Many thanks,

Tony

FPA does not recommend any broker. Why? visit this link http://www.forexpeacearmy.com/commu...forex-broker-product-or-service-for-me.42887/ to get proper idea WHY?

Now let me help you with something before you choose any broker.
Go to google, and search for the top 5 or 10 forex brokers.
Get the list ready.
shortlist the few names and then check review about them here http://www.forexpeacearmy.com/forex-reviews/forex-brokers.
There is one truth also that you won't find 100% satisfied clients from any brokers but before we try anyone with our hard earned money then it's our duty to crosscheck them.
let's move ahead
If you selected the broker then, you can open the account with them with a small deposit to check their procedure like withdrawal and others. Make sure you verify your account fully so they don't have any excuse to block your withdrawal in future.

Still, you are looking for more info then this http://www.forexpeacearmy.com/community/threads/how-to-select-a-forex-broker.2333/thread will help you a lot.

Thanks for the links and information, yes I will do as you have suggested, have been compiling some notes from various articles online, learning a lot fast!

As I am UK based once I have finished reading articles I will simply Google 'UK regulated Forex Brokers' and go from there...will use demo accounts to see how it all works before I decide on anything

Thanks again,

Tony

Where are you based? Let me know what you come up with and I will do the same, as stated below compiling important notes before I go to the next stage :)
You can look at reviews from FPA, and see their courts status. I recommend stay away from brokers who's been to court and filed guilty by FPA since the court itself was filed by a customer, with a representative of the Broker, and is voted by FPA forum members.

How we can learn if the complaint was by reason or simply by ignorance. FPA should provide some competent verdict as well as the guide how to read complaints correctly.

Agreed, just like any other forums, improvements can be made.
