Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Hello I'm trying to find a good true ecn/stp broker

I think everyone need to look for negative reviews, comments about brokers. If most of the negative comments coincide in context, it is worthwhile to think about working with it. Honest brokers will not have such comments they will work to solve the problems of the trader. They value their reputation.

You can not trust anyone! Reviews also buy! I recommend a foil cap)

AsstModerator and the FPA review moderation team work very hard to screen out fakes, but some will slip through.

This is why you need to read the reviews, not just look at the ratings. Do the good reviews all look like SEO optimized marketing? Do the bad reviews give believable details?

Most importantly, how many believable negative reviews talk about serious withdrawal issues (weeks or months with no money sent) or retroactive profit cancellations going back more than a few days. Those are the biggest warning signs that you won't be able to get your profits or even your initial deposit back.

Been out of Forex for quite a while. Getting back in. Had FXCM account that converted to FOREX.com. My very, very limited interaction with their customer service folks has been good. Very patient, resolved all my setup issues. Will be trading paper for a while until l get back up to speed. Put my account in dormant status so i wont be charged the $15/month 90 day inactivity charge. Can call them anytime to re-activate the account. Haven't done any funding/withdrawals yet, nor trades, especially under challenging conditions eg Fundamentals, etc.so cant say anything about that, but the customer service is encouraging...

YOU ALREADY FOUND THE BEST BROKER !!! LMFX is the best out there! I was with FXCM too and they threw me out with other winners.....Then I promise the head of compliance that I will make sure they loose their job...and the curse sure worked!
LMFX is by far the best broker out there that I know!
Don't be afraid....trade WITH THEM....AND happiness will follow you!

FPA Forums Team Note: You should mention that you are an IB for LMAX when you leave glowing endorsements like this.

Hi nhoville,

An account could be closed for any number of reasons since we are regulated and have to abide by regulatory requirements. A client being profitable is not one of those reasons. FXCM offers traders No Dealing Desk (NDD) forex execution in our standard accounts, which means we offset each client order one-for-one with the best prices quoted from competing liquidity providers. We make our money from client trading volume, not client losses. And while we also offer Dealing Desk execution on mini accounts, the account may be switched to NDD execution if our trading desk is unable to manage the risk from your trading activity.

I have been with Tallinex for about 6 months and my experience is excellent so far. They are responsive, and provide weekly advice on several of the most traded pairs (all have USD on one side or the other). Like any advice, you need to apply your own due diligence. The broker is ECN, and is offshore, which might scare some, plug that into your risk tolerance. Like so many offshore companies, they may not be tanking US traders (thank Obama for that) but you need to contact them and see. Also stay tuned to FPA and you'll multitudes of scam artists and will know enough to bypass them. I know of no decent US brokers, except Oanda is also sending out a newsletter (I'm not sure where they are in the world). I am always gratified to see this, it is suggestive of a company that is around for the long haul, not the clowns that open up, pillage all they can, then move a block away and open under a new name. Best of luck in your search and your trading.
Hi Robert are you still with tallinex?
Best regards
