    Hi,

I think I've met the requirements to become Private according to the FAQs. Is it an automatical process or do I need to be promoted to Privat?

    Thanks

Sometimes it also requires throwing a rock at the AsstModerator to wake him up. :p

...while at other times, gently blowing into one of his ear helps too! : )

I have also met the requirements for private but have not been promoted :(
I have been waiting for a couple days to see if my approval has been pending, but nothing has happened. I was working towards private to file a scam complaint since my thread in the scam alerts folder is not helping me resolve my case with fig.

    Rahman.
I have attempted to do so (wanted to send a PM) but recruits can't send PMs. I can't think of any other way to blow in his ear

Con grats, fill your profile out

:nerd: It helps if you have your profile filled out so we can know your real and not a scammer.

Is rank really that important in FPA???

When I started here sometime early this year (I think), I was promoted without even knowing I had been promoted. So, what's the big deal? Not like we get a salary or something like that for our rank! : )

Hmmmm, perhaps the labour department ought to look into this matter! : )

But on the serious side, our FPA is a very good avenue for Traders (new & old) to come together and lend support and assistance when required. Where else are we going to go for such support??

The main reason to make Private:

The main reason to make Private:

#1. To make sure your not a scammer or site promoter.
#2. Most important, To be able to get “Personal Messages” PM’s (You can’t get them till your a Private, see #1 above). There is more to FPA than just public postings. A lot of the support and assistance the FPA can and does give is through the PM’s. Not everything is for public posting.
#3. It shows that you are actively involved in the community. Some times it helps get the closet Forex lurkers out of their shy shell. I read for a year before I posted.
#4. To be able to file a complaint about a broker.
