Beginners Questions I am new into Forex and I made a costless mistake.

So much free training online, I wouldn't pay for it. Use the online resources and work on a demo account to build your confidence and work on your strategies

You shouldn't try to learn how to trade, you should look at it as a hobby. Start with small articles on trading topics in web, go to variety forums (like this one). Devote a little time to it per day til it gets into the habit. And it is absolutely normal to make mistakes at the beginning and lose small amounts, without it you cannot learn . $13.99 is not much for an invaluable experience).
I like this attitude. Some start out viewing forex as a hobby, some treat it as business right from the beginning. Which one motivates you more depends on your personality, sometimes it's harder to make a habit out of something if you put too much pressure on yourself.
Sometimes I trick myself into doing difficult things by saying "I just have to read two pages" or "I just have to spend 5 minutes doing X". I often end up doing more, but even if I don't, it helps build a habit.

Trading Forex is a very discipline based activity. Make sure to keep a journal of your trades including screenshots of the opening and closing of each trade that you take. Trading is very much about your ability to recognize patterns and the patience necessary to wait for those patterns to repeat. PATIENCE in FOREX TRADING is a VIRTUE. I wish you much success in your journey!

Hello everyone,

I am genuinely glad that I found this community.
About that costless mistake, it actually costed me $13.99.

I am talking about buying an udemy online course, I KNOW, right !
Iamsostupidlol

needless to say, It gave me an idea of how Forex work, but glad that I found you guys, cause what that online course taught me was that I can earn money easily from Forex, which you guys have warned through many threads here and replies there that this is so wrong and on so many levels.

I'm going to start my forex journey here, with complete trading education.

Just one question:
How did you guys, back then when you started, get rid laziness of learning Forex (or generally a something new) ? I can read, but I hate reading.
I hate reading to, I take things in so much better if I can see it and have it explained in a video. we all make mistakes as long as you learn something from it its worth it I think

You can learn anything from Youtube. It's a great tool as many people post about mistakes they learnt from too so it can prevent your own errors in the future.

One thing you need to know is...you will have to read a lot. Even I used to hate reading but still the 1st source information is always available in the form of articles and not videos. So yes start developing reading habits.
