aum108,

Your assumption the awards are "fake" is weak and baseless.

Not one of the websites has told you this. You sound like a person just trying to find anything wrong with something.

Just don't trade with them then! Good luck.

Hi downtrend

Actually, in my opinion those awards are weak and baseless.

Same situation with the fourth award given by bestfinancedirectory.com...
Most of the links at the bottom of that webpage just don't work.
As with the other two webpages 24hrfinance.com + dubaifinanceguide.com
the content is a copy+paste of another real fiancial webpage, this time it's atozforex.com

So, yes I absolutely and truly believe that those awards are not genuine.

Not one of the websites has told you this.
Well, just the fact that the links don't work and the content is copied from other webpages tells me.
Only the part with the awards is always with original content and not copied from anywhere else.
Surfing on those 3 financial webpages for a while will make you aware that there is something wrong.
I'm sorry you don't see that, buddy . Many FPA-users will agree that those are shallow decoy sites.

The only webpage with real content is the one of China Forex Expo.
But the award category "Best Award Fund" just doesn't exist at that Expo.

You sound like a person just trying to find anything wrong with something.
Just don't trade with them then! Good luck.
Hm, what's wrong with that? Isn't this forum about posting wrong things if one noticed? :)
I also posted often in other threads when I found something wrong or suspicious.
Look, I'm not the bad guy here, I didn't put those financial websites + awards online.
One has to presume that most likely they serve the purpose of attracting new customers for i2.
But why don't they just win awards genuinely?

I'm not saying that i2 are scammers, I really hope they are not.
But there are so many strange things with i2, that will put many investors on "yellow alert". ;)
Nowadays one has to be very careful when things don't add up with investments.
I'd like other FPA-members to see those odd things as well,
so they can decide for themselves if i2 is truthfull and worth risking just 3K or fully 25K.
Without those awards, I probably would have invested +25K. Now I wouldn't risk more than 3K.

Good luck to you too. :D

You could make these claims on any brokerage, legitimate or not. Look at HotForex (legit) or InstaForex (not a great broker most people here say).

hotforex.com/sv/en/about-us/awards.html

instaforex.com/awards

Client experience/reviews are what matters. I could not care less about an award site not being updated.. does not mean anything.

I2 has very good reviews too I must say! Have not seen any negatives from clients I don't think.

Sure you'll only see positive reviews, that's because he paid people to post fake reviews and I've already caught him red handed on that one but now he got all the evidences DELETED from imgur. Anyways, the good thing I still have them on me.

Second of all, he's nothing but a scammer who thinks he's Sherlock Holmes OR he can get away with his scam thanks to his friend who works in the canadian RCMP lol. This kid is a low lifer and really needs attention.

He sent me 3 pictures of people (God knows who they are and what they have done). He also took a nice picture of an apartment from what it seems... Can't believe people are actually uploading their ID in an unlicensed business.

What's worst? THEY CLAIM TO MANAGE 25m+ worth of funds and they are using WORDPRESS and a $200 design. I managed to access their admin panel because of how poorly the admin is built.

www.iiinvestments.com/wp-includes or www.iiinvestments.com/wp-admin

What a joke... Stay away!

Your allegations don't even make any sense. Who cares if they use a WP system? Millions of sites do including big corporations.

They also don't even claim to have 25M, that's the total including their Zulu / social trading individual programs managed by other traders.

You come off extremely troll-ish.

Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum but came across it while doing some due diligence for a potential investment in I2 Investments. I decided that the company itself seems too good to be true, which means it usually is, so contacted them and asked for company registration details, regulatory status and registration, audited accounts etc. I got an email back saying "we're fully regulated by BDC" and they have various entities that verify their results. None of the other information I asked for was provided or is available on their website etc. Very unusual.

I posted this information on the thread about BCD but see this thread is also active so am posting here too. I think there are many, many red flags with this but my logic is that if we trust the company is regulated and therefore answerable to someone in the event it is dodgy, then to whom is it answerable and what is our investor protection from this regulator? The regulator should provide comfort to investors, and scrutiny on member firms. This research on BCD was is in fact enough for me to conclude this is very risky, this regulator is unverifiable and looks very unusual, so I won't go any further with an investment personally.

I have worked in the very tightly regulated offshore financial services sector for around 20 years now and know a lot about compliance and regulation in the sector. After a quick look at BDC there are a lot of red flags that suggest this regulator is totally bogus. I will list a few glaring ones;

- There is no address for BDC - where is it based? Where does it regulate? In what jurisdictions does it operate? Is it worldwide operating across huge international borders? Contact details are a contact form and an email address only. Very strange indeed.
- There is no regulatory news, information, guidance, stories of their operations or industry interactions. What do they do?
- No information on who runs it. Who is the controller? What are their qualifications?
- There is no registration information. Incorporation details or registration numbers.
- The website for BDC, as many here have pointed out, is searchable only. How do we know the entire database is a handful of entities, or even just 1 (the one we are looking for already)?
- And one that just made me laugh - in a section on warnings, where they advise not to deal with particular companies where complaints have been received, they don't say they've taken any action or such like, they provide a link to the homepage of the company itself!! Do they want me to sign up!!??

All in all it stinks. If this is the regulator the underlying company (I2) is hanging their hat on, look no further and save your money.

Everyone knows Financial Commission (financialcommission.org) and Broker Dealer Compliance are online complaint-resolution portals and not the FCA or CySEC.

They don't claim to be though and clearly serve a beneficial purpose. Other users on this forum have spoken positively of BDC, and I've seen both around for quite a few years.

And if you are such a professional in the industry, why did you join just to post this on their two threads, and have the username "freemoney".

Very suspicious.

I simply posted this in response to some of the useful analysis posted on here. Its called contributing. I had not come across this forum before so yes, it was my first post. I was simply sharing my thoughts on the regulator as I am in fact suspicious of investing in this company. I'm not really sure what is suspicious about posting a constructive view advising people to be cautious though! Nice to meet you, anyway

@freemoney147

Welcome to the FPA forum.

Thanks for your contribution. Please keep posting if you notice more odd things about BDC or i2.

Don't worry... barking dog never bites... ;)

@downtrend

There is nothing wrong about posting the first time on the FPA forums on the BDC / i2 threads.
No one did complain when I posted the first time on FPA.

And no one did complain when so many guests just posted in the i2-FPA-review-page only to give them a positive feedback.
Very suspicious
