I dont know where or if this firm is regulated - but if they are within EU or US jurisdiction, the authorities will certainly be interested in this, because not only did you lose money due to dubious circumstances, but also the fact that it is possible at all to send funds to 3rd parties like that is in gross violation of anti-money-laundring laws, and in the post 9-11 era this is usually taken seriously by regulators.

They're sort-of regulated, in Russia.

I wonder if their regulator has ever taken action against any company or if it's just a registration where you can claim to be regulated if you pay a fee.
