I have been scammed on instagram. Scammer is going by instagram name ‘collins_nate_fx’ they are impersonating a genuine trader from the UK.
I had contact with this person on instagram and then WhatsApp, I have traced the phone number back to the Netherlands.
They have used bitcoin.com (the app on iPhone) to make the scam. I deposited funds into there, I thought I was transferring into my own trading account, but the funds was clearly going to them. I have contacted bitcoin.com & moonpay, along with my bank, and they cannot recover the funds. Bitcoin & moonpay have been no help. But surely they must know where the funds have gone??

Website used - primexbtoptions.com

I did my research but signing up, and when you Google ‘prime xbt’ there is a genuine trading website by this name, so they are impersonating this website, which has good reviews etc, which is why I went ahead. When you Google ‘prime xbt options’ that website doesn’t come up, only when you put the actual web address can you find it. Please be careful!!

Mobile number being used for the scam - 07441453622
Instagram - collins_nate_fx
Website - primexbtoptions.com/login
Bitcoin address - 1JpD7b5rmJx8XdKQyz7JUWbg9nsp7YY4Er

The above is the bitcoin address I sent my funds to.

Can anyone help with recovering my funds??

Thanks

This has just happened to my partner too.

Gentleman by the name of liam.martinsson_
The picture is similar to the above profile mentioned with the same window in the background and both accounts have the same bio. Clearly a good and convincing set up.
My partner made what appeared to be 40k in a short amount of time... withdrew the funds, when they asked him to pay 2k via Bitcoin for them to release the money.
After I investigated the website online, nothing seemed to make sense, and they used a lot of different trading names, all of the authorities they had registered with didn't have record of this company.

DO NOT INVEST!!!! Beware of this bastard.
