    First, you have to file a formal complaint to the company. Emails are not sufficient. Please use the Complaint Portal (under "file a complaint") : https://www.ironfx.com/en/making-a-complaint. They are obliged to register your complaint, reporto to the CySEC and give you a reference number.

    After the answer or after 3 weeks (do not wait too long, the current deadline is 4 months), you can file a dispute before the Financial Ombudsman of Cyprus.
    It took a long time, but a number of clients were refunded after the decision of the Financial Ombudsman.

    If the company accuses you of infringement of contract terms, please oppose the Decision of the Cyprus Consumer and Protection Service about IronFx contract terms being unfair (which means not binding for consumers)

    There is a Decision of the Hungarian Court of Appeal against IronFx. The decision states that retail forex traders are consumers (Debrecen Court of Appeal, Pkf.11.20.685 / 2016/2., November 2016)

    The Court of Appeal confirms: as a retail trader living in the EU, you can sue IronFx before court in your own EU country. You do not need to file a lawsuit in Cyprus.

    After complaining to the company itself (with a formal complaint, not an email) and to the CySEC, it is important that you also complain to the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA): BUL@esma.europa.eu
