A girl I matched up with on a dating app wants me to trade forex with gold using this platform.
Is it safe to do so? My chrome browser has already identified the web page as insecure.

If a girl from a dating site refers you to a broker, its a romance scam. Let me guess. You might be lucky enough to have gotten a voice message or two (maybe even a very short voice chat), but haven't had a video chat. Most/all communication has been by text. She was busy and asked you to talk to a broker and place some trades in her account. All of the trades were quickly and amazingly profitable. Now she wants you to experience the same success by opening your own account.

If a broker's site is http instead of https, it's an untrustworthy broker. A personal blog might be http. Any website that involves submitting your ID or financial information should always be https. mifoo's site is http.

miifoo.cn was registered a little over a year ago. There's nothing at miifoo.cn itself.

Despite this, they claim to have been in business for more than 10 years. You can see a nearly identical site at cc-forex.com (registered on May 20, 2020).

Report the girl to Tinder. You went there for a date, not to invest with a broker that has a barely functional website.

I've only communicated with her via wechat.

What's strange is she only bought it up when I told her I just got laid off from work due to covid19 and to give any advice for any short term financial investment opportunities since she was a investor or so she said.

Anyways thank you for your insight. If i ever decide to trade gold, I will trade on known and reputable platform.

Don't waste your time or analyze what she wants, just move on. There are plenty of real girls out there.

Good luck brother!

company offering forex, gold, financial trading product require to obtain license from financial regulator, the license can be cross check with financial authority website. if broker company operate without verifiable license number, most likely it is fake trading, and your trade doesnt pass to the real market exchange. the money is gone for good as soon as you send the deposit

How I verifiable a companies license number though?

How I verifiable a companies license number though?

First, the company claiming the license needs to share the license number and name of the regulator. Then, assuming it's a regulator you recognize, you can check the regulator's website or else give them a call. If you don't recognize the regulator or are suspucious of the site the company claims belongs to the regulator, post the info at the FPA and ask.

The main regulator for forex trading in the USA is at nfa.futures.org Don't trust any other domain anyone gives for the NFA. Also, even if you find a regulated company under a supplied NFA ID, you need to check to make sure the NFA Registration isn't being borrowed by an unregulated company.

How I verifiable a companies license number though?

check the brokerage company website, located at which country and address
go to google search "country name financial regulator"

go to financial regulator website, look for licensed entity or look for search license number to check if the brokerage company is registered or not
