Jobless Rate

Stocks were choppy this morning due to the release of several earnings reports, and a higher than expected jobless rate. (Read more at Millennium-Traders.Com)

Economic data released today:

Initial Jobless Claims:
U.S. Jobless Claims rose11K to 531K in week of October compared to survey of an increase by 4K; U.S. Continuing Claims for week of October 10 fell 98K to 5,923,000; U.S. Jobless Claims Revised for week of October 10 to 520K from 514K.

Leading Index:
U.S. Conference Board: September Leading Index rose 1.0%; U.S. Conference Board: September Coincident Index 0.0%.
