Since the last chapter of this saga, I tripped over this website:

econsumer.gov - Your site for cross-border complaints.

It doesn't directly get your money back, but allows a number of governments and police agencies to view complaints. If everyone who is a victim files reports there, this will make it a lot easier for someone in authority to step in and do something about it.

Like you I have received no reply from Jumierah Resources plc. But they are still in existence and filed returns this year. An option is to take them to the Small Claims Court (depending on how much you invested).
