Knights service group tinder scam

As I discussed in the "Business Choice Partners Group" thread here I have dealt but never committed anything yet to KSG via MT5. The girl I spoke with, Cherry, has consistently pushed I invest $1000USD, and lately has been quiet when I have repeatedly expressed that "I cannot".

Here is my main info post: https://www.forexpeacearmy.com/comm...arkets-com-is-a-scam.66492/page-8#post-377124

She was on OKCupid and has used aliases, which I reported. The big tells here are claims to be in/from Hong Kong but unable to speak any Cantonese. This is immediately bull**** or highly unlikely, especially if they are from Guangdong province (so in Shenzhen) which is mostly Cantonese first by the native population. Cherry/Alisa/etc claimed to be from Zhejiang province, specifically Wenzhou, but none the less, doing business in HK would require some use of Cantonese.

OK update on this, tried the withdraw option from the knight service group login, it say withdraw sucsesfull but the funds never leave the account.

The woman says it takes a few days, I must be patient. I have not jumped to the "you are a scam give me my money" because I figured they would just dissapear real quick.

Its kind of annoying because I have more than double what I invested first hahaha

There is no way you can withdraw from mt5 app is there? Does it always have to be withdrawn from the broker? Is there some sort of security mt5 can offer to protect against this sort of thing maybe a transfer to another broker?

Any info would be greatly appreciated, even if I get half back it's a win for me. I have already sent an email to Hong Kong Police cyber crime but haven't heard anything back yet
Unfortunately MT5 is only a platform between brokers and traders. They have nothing to do with it, however, I hope it’s more regulated in the future because it seems like as long as they are established trading company, they can registered. I learned this the hard way. You really have to be very well knowledge in order to do any type of investment in the future.

Good luck on getting some of your money back. This is such a huge lesson for all of us.

Please keep me updated on how you go with this. All the exact same thing has happened to me.

I also transferred to the NAB account - surely this can be traced by the police?

I am going to try the same approach and ask how I can withdraw some of the money before putting in a large sum.

Just been reading another thread on this, I really can't believe how big and seemingly well organised these scammers are.
Dating services need to do more I think to ensure users are aware scammers may try and operate on their platform.
This is really unfair.

Additional and new photos.

I am still working on her, but I have a feeling she's going to disappear soon.
Hi,

The scammers are using other people online photos. They are not the ones from the photos.

Perhaps should do a video call with her and see if she answer the phone. She probably give you reasons why she can't answer.

I found the owner of the photo on her china weibo site ( China Facebook or Instagram similar). Happily married and just gave birth.

Do NOT transfer any money to any bank account their gave you.

Scammers only want your money.

Take care.

SINCERE PEOPLE FROM THESE DATING WEBSITES, WILL NEVER ASK YOU TO INVEST, TRANSFER MONEY TO ANYWHERE, TELLING YOU THAT THEY ARE IN DIFFICULTY AND NEED TO HELP THEM OUT FINANCIALLY (ESPECIALLY WITHOUT EVEN SEEING EACH OTHER). ANYONE WHO DOES THAT ARE HIGHLY LIKELY TO BE SCAMMERS

Well the withdrawal failed, it does say withdraw successful but the funds never appear to leave mt5 or the broker website.
The woman in question claims something about an accountant needing to get in contact with me to arrange fund withdrawal.
I have limited communication but still don't want to start screaming scam because I don't want them to cut and run.
Yeah I though the NAB account was unusual, I would have thought living in Australia and this being an Australian bank there would be something I can do or some security
