Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Problem Lee Elbaz Case: BigOption

I am having an issue with a company
Of course she fully contributed to the crime scheme, however she had no control over the proceeds of crime, that was SpotOption

….here some more details about those stinking court restitution orders, as we see 500 bugs per month for the victims, for three years and that’s it, imagine her paying back …..what a nasty joke !

“After his prison term he will be under “supervised release” for three years, meaning his whereabouts and activities will be monitored by a probation officer. During the supervised release period, Smith will also be required to undergo substance abuse testing, enroll in a mental health treatment program, enroll in a substance abuse treatment program and take all prescribed mental health medications.
In addition, he will be required to pay $486,199 in restitution to his binary options victims at a rate of $500 per month.

And all the while Yossi and Kobi will be enjoying their stolen millions at large in Israel, laughing all the way to the bank.

The judge slaps Lee Elbaz with 22 years in rough prison

She’ll be an old grandma when she’s released (if she makes it, that is). Her brutal cellmates are likely to keep questioning her where she hid the stolen wealth and will take no bull from her.

But that’s nothing to Yossi and Kobi who thrive at large in luxury while their homeland Israel refuses to charge them.

She got off lightly with 22yrs even though that's still a long time. It says in your link the prosecutors recommended 34yrs and her lawyer wanted her to serve only 5yrs!
I hope the judge throws any appeal in the bin!!!

Well, she seems like she's in her late 30's maybe so not quite "grandma" ;)

The thing is she claims she made about $500k in total working for YUKOM.
Therefore, she is being sent to USA prison for making a tiny percentage of what these companies raised.
The other cases that the CFTC has done (civil lawsuits) are all just monetary penalties (no prison). So it's pretty incredible to see her get 22 years while almost all the rest have gotten zero. Not really fair if we're going to be totally honest here.

And Yossi was indicted:

But if you look up all of the rest they didn't get nearly the prison sentences, etc.
It's because she was the "sales trainer" and they had so many of her emails/commutations specifically "teaching" how to scam...

The only unfair part is that others convicted of crimes like this haven't gotten longer sentences. I believe the judge looked very carefully at the impact on victims. How many lives ruined equals a year on a jail sentence?

Yossi might have been indicted in the US but what does it matter if no extradition request was filed and he’s still enjoying his wealth at large in Israel?

Yukom co-owner Yakov 'Kobi' Cohen celebrates his impunity in Israel as his ex-employee Lee Elbaz gets imprisoned for 22 years in the US for helping him to steal some $140 million from victims worldwide:

On or about April 7,2016, BIGELMAN sent an email to a Yukom retention agent with the subject line "[H]ey buddy good job, so far for today!!!!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!" The text of the email included, "PUSH PUSH PUSH TAKE EVERYTHING THEY GOT."

So write the US federal prosecutors in their unsealed indictment of Yosef 'Yossi' Herzog, Yakov 'Kobi' Cohen, and the remaining Yukon staff: https://www.justice.gov/opa/press-release/file/1216721/download

A total of 15 defendants were indicted. If tried in absentia, maximal sentences will likely follow, with subsequent extradition requests to Israel and an ensuing manhunt worldwide to land them for decades if not for life in some of America's most brutal prisons where inmate homicide, same-sex gang rape, knife fights, malnutrition, and hard labor are common.

They worked exactly the same way as Banc de Binary did. It will be my lucky day If Alexis Lontos Leonidou (Alexis Williams) and Onophytos Papaxenopoulos (Chris Johnson) are convicted.
