Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

Problem Lee Elbaz Case: BigOption

I am having an issue with a company

DOJ continues to receive statements from BinaryBook and BigOption victims
December 6, 2019

Several days before the scheduled sentencing of binary options fraudster Lee Elbaz, the Department of Justice asks to submit to the Court more victim statements

"The sentencing of Lee Elbaz is scheduled for December 9, 2019. The sentencing memorandum by the Government is sealed so there is no certainty on what sentence the US authorities are pushing for in this case. And yet, from previous DOJ filings with the Court, there are indications as to the approximate sentence the defendant is facing."

Struck plea bargain, testified against Yukom's Lee Elbaz
US jails binary options fraudster, who then claimed to help victims, for a year
As former Israeli immigrant Austin Smith prepares to serve his term, ex-legal counsel for Wealth Recovery International says she’s helping US authorities track down clients’ money
Today, 4:04 pm

"Austin Smith, a binary options sales agent turned owner of a company that claimed to recover victims’ lost funds, has been sentenced to 12 months and a day in US federal prison.
Smith, 35, pleaded guilty last March to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud for his role in a $140 million fraud scheme carried out by the Israeli-run binary options websites BinaryBook.com and BigOption.com."

Looks like mamma Lee might be going in for life.

Yet Yossi is at large, Kobi is at large, will the US invade?

Looks like mamma Lee might be going in for life.

ahh, no…how will she pay back over a hundred millions, but this court proceedings sounds more and more like some true clown parade it seems they are taking the victims for a fools ride

damn, when you see the ape of Smith get away with one year jail …. he needs to be exposed in a zoo for life…wtf

in worst case, she should feel at home anyway

She never had those hundred something million to herself. They’re only punishing the boiler room people while leaving the masterminds at large to enjoy their wealth.

“Smith’s binary options co-conspirator, Shira Uzan, who also pleaded guilty and also testified at the Lee Elbaz trial, was sentenced on November 21 to four months in prison followed by three years of supervised release. Uzan is required to pay restitution of $1,819,595.”

So you only get 4 months of jail time in the land of the free for conning people out of a hefty $2 million. That’s some real allied stuff.

Yes , those prosecutor deals make no sense honestly this prosecutor don’t seem fit for the job…it stinks !

…now they are talking about sentencing one person for live, and it turns out the sums involved are not so correct, in fact they need to rely on criminal spotoption paperwork data….what is this ????

…hell Herzog, Pini etc… might as well keep on bragging on the Knesset and ask for diplomatic immunity…

Despite her loud title of a CEO, Lee Elbaz was merely a boiler room manager. Her imprisonment won’t be much of a loss to Yossi’s and Kobi’s “business” who can easily find a replacement and continue touting their scams over the phone from third countries while walking free and enjoying their wealth in Israel.
