MTI WILL NOT HONOR THEIR REFUND AGREEMENT, “SEE YOU IN COURT SUCKER”

I joined MTI under their “Loose While You Learn” program and the agreement stated that I could meet some criteria (which I done) and then receive a full refund, that was six months ago and MTI will not respond to me or the Better Business Bureau either, NADA.

I have found that I can’t bring them into Small Claims without serving them with a court notice because they are a Registered Corporation in Florida, this would cause me to have to make at least two trips to Florida and that is too expensive considering they could skip out on paying me as getting the money back in real time is another story.

They suck you in with their “Earn While You Learn” program, which turns out to be “Loose While You Learn”. Then they tell you that what you need is the “Ultimate Scalper Package” upgrade for another $2,000 and then you still don’t make winning trades because you need the “The Ultimate Swing Traders Course” for another $2,000 and I assume then you’re suppose to be an “Ultimate Trader”, or not (?).

So, that’s $4,000 + $2,000 + $2,000 = $8,000. Please listen to the real people here and understand that MTI makes their living selling educational products because they can’t trade the Forex any better than the next salesman, and they will not honor their refund.

BTW, I noticed that Jacob Martinez is giving some of the very few positive ratings here; his father is Jared Martinez, the owner of MTI. So Jacob thinks his Old Pappy is alright people, what are the chances?

Market Traders Institute (MTI)

My experience with this company stinks..... After they sign you up, you hear NO more from them. After numerous calls and messages to them of which they do NOT respond leaves the impression they only want to get your money and offer No futher service. I sent them a letter of cancellation within the 60 day period and heard nothing, except their partner in crime finance company still drafted my bank account. The finance company in Mo is only a collector for them and in reality has not factored or funded anything for them... Will be turning this over to attorney and states attorney. Orlando Better Business Bureau is a joke they look out for their members as had previous dealings with them.....
Like to know of any other Rip Offs so can send to the attorney.
Thanks

Mr. Heddings,

I looked into this and I think this issue has been resolved and you were refunded some time ago. I had my customer service manager reach out to you today just in case. If this issue is still pending, please send me a private message or call Matt Johnston back at 407-740-0900 and he can go through everything with you and get this taken care of.

Thanks for the heads-up. Will direct MTI/Next Step mail to my trash. Wow...amazing.
I'm a newbie to forex, but the thing I've really learned over the past 3 weeks is how many lowlife people there are out there.

D Hondo,

Very sorry to hear about your issues with our company. We would definitely like an opportunity to earn back your business and make things right with you. We no longer use a separate financing company, everything is handled by our exclusive authorized re-seller Next Step Financial Holdings. We've also added a substantial amount of customer service, account executives, and other support personal to ensure that none of our clients are left behind. Again, I apologize for the issues you had in the past, but our company has made huge strides in ensuring 100% customer satisfaction and would love the opportunity to work with you again.

Due to the extreme circumstances of your situation, if you give our customer service manager Matt Johnston a call at 407-740-0900 and we dropped the ball, I've authorized him to offer you free access to the Ultimate Traders Package with no financial commitment from you required. No money, no contract, or credit card required. We believe strongly in making sure people get what they pay for and making sure our clients are satisfied and don't want people feeling that they were cheated when working with our company. If you had a bad experience with us due to some mistake we made, we want the opportunity to make it right.

MTI SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE

Had an interesting call with "Market Traders Institute". They claimed that they teach people to average 70% return per week. Of course that would compound to $1 million a quarter per $1000 invested. Ya we all have days like that, but not every day, but the guy on the phone implied as average ROR. Pretty much the whole call was "fear of loss" and "magic bullet" sales with some one who called them self an educational specialist. Seemed like code for sales guy aka closer, started naming a bunch of promotions to get me to part with $2000 on the spot... or wait I think he said payment plan to...I hung up at that point.

But he wasn't finished. Later I received an email with a headline - "NO MORE EXCUSES" Inside I was informed that because I was especially selected, I could take advantage of a never before offered 40% discount off the course of the program. The complete Ultimate Traders Package for only $4100. This is there words, not mine. Only $4100?? Oh yeah. I'm going to jump on that one. But the real kicker was that I was offered this "never before offered 40% discount" at least 4 times since last November. So much for "never before offered." I had to wonder if these guys ever keep any records on who they communicate with or just have so much turnover with their sales people that newbies are not aware of what is going on.

The claims made by MTI just seem too good to be true. With investors losing an average of 95% trading Forex, how could MTI have this many positive reviews and success? I don't believe it. And if MTI has so many happy an successful students, how come they are never nominated, let alone win any awards from Trader Planet which every year asks clients to vote for the best trading courses?

Sounds too good to be true.

Caveat Emptor!

I suggest forwarding those emails over to the CFTC and NFA, along with a description of the promises made in the phone call.

MTI Reaching Out

MTI SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE

Had an interesting call with "Market Traders Institute".

Hi Bmj1982,

I’m a representative with Market Traders Institute. I know that this is your first post on this site. Some of the claims being discussed here do not sound like what we train our representatives to say. All of our calls are recorded for quality assurance, compliance and training purposes. I would like to know when this call took place and who you spoke to so that I can pull and review the call and correct any issues. I would like to contact you to see if we can clarify any information if there is any confusion. I was wondering if you could give us a call so that we can clear the air. Our number is 407-585-0132.

Also, I believe that you’ve posted varying versions of this situation on multiple review sites and forums from as far back as April of this year. If you don’t mind me asking, are you continuing to attend our product demonstrations?

Thanks for reaching out and we hope to hear from you soon.

According to "Trader's Court" MTI scam thread, it was easy to spot who is or who isn't working for MTI. I have been college educated for 4 years with training in Forensic Science Communication (psychology in writing), and there are distinctive elements of all psychological word choices, grammar, and sentence structure. In addition, those who work for MTI have given their reviews and graded them 4 or 5 stars, while those who wrote negative reviews graded 1 star (by default). Nowhere do any reviews have graded for 2 or 3 stars. I would advise novice traders to be careful in dealing with MTI and trade at your own risk (buyer's beware).
