FPA Scam Finding
against
MetaiForexRobot.com and MtFxRobot.com

We the members of the Scam Investigations Committee of the Forex Peace Army have deliberated on all the evidence available to us and have reached a conclusion. It is our opinion that...

On February 21st, Wswi from Malaysia submitted a 1 star review for MetaiForexRobot.com saying that it was using code as well as the activation server from Million Dollar Pips. The review cited a post on DonnaForex.com. One of the review moderators notified the FPA's AsstModerator and he began an investigation.

A member of the FPA test team noted that many scalper EAs use very similar code. This made the case hinge primarily on the misuse of the activation server. Donna was contacted. She confirmed the story and told where the code was for the original receipt that was being misused in to authenticate the copied EAs using the Million Dollar Pips server. Donna also said that the owner of MDP had confirmed the issue.

The FPA's AsstModerator then emailed both Metai and MDP separately to see if there was any sort of licensing agreement between the two companies. William of MillionDollarPips confirmed the piracy had happened without permission that that Metai had misused his authentication server. Metai support replied that the accusation was unfounded, that the two EAs had significant differences, and that the FPA could check this with the owner of MDP. Instead of asking for an immediate Scam Finding, William spent some time trying to work out a licensing deal that would allow Metai to use his code. He reports that Metai's offers were unreasonably low.

We consider this to be a case of deliberately stealing code and hacking a server to make it easier to sell stolen copies of code. We consider this to be a clear violation of international copyright law. Additionally, Metai lied to the FPA when first confronted about the issue.

Under these circumstances, Metai Forex Robot has forced us to consider it to be a scam. We offer Metai the opportunity to have this scam finding lifted by meeting these requirements. First, they must withdraw that robot from the market. Second, any client who requests a refund must be paid without regard to how long the purchaser has owned it. Third, they must publicly apologize to Million Dollar Pips for this crime as well as to the FPA for lying. Fourth, they must offer MDP a reasonable amount to compensate for this intellectual property theft and hacking.

As of today, the FPA Performance Tests on all products from this company. This applies to MetaiForexRobot.com and to their other website, MTFxRobot.com. If this Scam Finding is lifted, the company may later submit EAs for Performance Testing at the FPA, but only on live accounts.

MetaiForexRobot.com and MTFxRobot.com are hereby blacklisted by the Forex Peace Army as are all other websites of this company, including TopFxRobot.com. We urge traders not to do business with this company. For those who have already purchased their product, we urge you to seek a refund immediately.

We wish to thank FPA reviewer Wswi for bringing this to the attention of the FPA. We thank Donna Forex for posting about the issue. We thank AsstModerator for writing the article associated with thios scam finding. We especially thank William at Million Dollar Pips for his efforts to try to resolve the issue peacefully.
