Hi im thinking of opening a forex account with AvAfx but am not sure. See alot of negative stuff on line. Does anyone know the real risks. I saw on one site that the pitfalls are plenty and the success rate is only 10%. So 9 out of every 10 lose there money.

Estimates are that 90% or so of new traders get wiped out no matter what broker they use. A large amount of these margin calls are due to not understanding the basics of risk management. This should help:

No matter how good your system is, poor risk management will do bad things to your account balance.
