Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

General discussions of a financial company
I was under the impression that virtually all ECN's allowed or even welcomed scalping. The primary reason that other brokers ban scalping is that they can't hedge themselves against the market quickly enough and a trader's gains from scalping become the broker's losses.

Also, you mention that fixed spread is an option. Fixed spread doesn't exactly fit with my understanding of how an ECN broker should be passing on the true spread from the market.

Are your KiwiTrader accounts ECN?
Hi Pharoah,

We already clarified that Gold Zero and Gold accounts offerred in KiwiTrader platform are tailor-made products with zero spread and no commission on loss trade or fixed spread respectively; therefore not ECN enbaled and hence no scalping permitted. However, we are launching v. shortly a third product in KiwiTrader which will be ECN enabled whereby scalping will be permitted.

The company was acquired by a Japanese investor and the acquisition was completeted on 6/5/2011. Following the control/ownership/managemet change, re-branding of the company to PFD has been completed as disclosed in the company website Company Profile :: Pacific Financial Derivatives Ltd: The online trading provider matching highest standards in integrity and safety. Further, following regulatory changes in NZ and the formation of FMA (apex regulator), the new owners applied for authorization of the company as an Authorised Futures Dealer which was granted by FMA on 29/09/2011. From regulatory perspective, PFD can be treated as a new company with new direction and new owners.

Prices do not properly matched with the market price.
At 23 hours 59 minutes 56 seconds. I made a Buy Stop order at price 0.82348
(Transaction ID: 2630238)
At this time the actual market price without this price. So I asked why my order matched the price when I was put in the market price does not exist?
A scam company! Stay away from it.

Anyone using this New Zealand broker? Are they regulated? Any IB's for them on here? Their spreads on their websites look too good to be true..

This is end of day e.g. 5PM EDT when NZ news released. I think they reject claims.

Yes, see FMA link from https://www.pfd-nz.com/licence and http://www.business.govt.nz/fsp/app...ment/8867715E9AB56EA9C039B38D5B017F35/content

What do you mean they reject claims at that specific time? I have not seen that. They allow news trading and scalping..
Means at this time bad execution is almost common. Yes they allow any trading style. As far as I understand all they worry is volume win/lose dont care.
