Resolved - Trader XP - refusing to return intial deposit

I contacted them and was able to deactivate my account to prevent any more trades going through, and then today I finally received the last payment of the refund.

It has been an extremely long-winded process and I stand by my previous statement; however, I have to acknowledge that once assigned to my case, the customer service representative, Alexandra, was extremely sincere and helpful throughout the process, although it seemed she was working against quite a strange system they've got there at Trader XP.
