Hi people i know with the instant execution we can set a maximum range (in order window) in pips within enter a trade or abandon it. But in ecn broker does this function work? Infact i know they do market executions, and if i open the order window i don't see this parameter to set. But if i go to tools->options->trade i can set this number of pips deviations.

The question is: does it work anyway?

Thanks

It should work, but I recommend checking first. To some extent, that may end up depending on how the broker has their back end set up. Contact your broker's support and ask them. Even if they do say that your slippage limits will be honored, keep an eye on what slippage you really get.
