In responce to TrueTrader

I have been trading forex for almost five years, so first off Im not a newbie, and I am quite aware of how difficult Forex trading is, so don't need the lecture.

Im not sure where you get the idea that visiting these forums is a waste of time. I have come across many nuggets of advice and new ideas that have improved my trading by visiting the forums on a regular basis. I think reading books, articles, and selectively scanning the forums are all great ways to improve as a trader. Anyhow enough ranting.

I am by no means participating in "the slamming" of the stealth system. I will be the first to agree that Martin is a class act when it comes to answering emails and trying to offer assistance, and I have taken full advantage of this already.

I think the problem I have with the system has more to do with my limited time, than the system itself. I work crazy hours and can only realistically analyze the charts for about an hour each night before bed, so I am limited to trading the H4 and Daily charts. I do not doubt the power of stealth for scalping on the M1 all the way up to the longer strategy on the H1 charts. However after giving it a real honest go, and being very diciplined with the rules, I just haven't had great results with the "longer term" trading system on the H4 and Daily.

Having said that it could just be that most currency pairs are in a period of consolidation right now, and it is just not a good time to be trading the long term trends. I suspect most people using the stealth system and having success are scalping during the London and U.S. sessions (which I am not able to do unfortunately).

I have had some success so far using Autochartist.com to search for patterns on the H4 and Daily, along with some other indicators I use as a filter.

Anyhow, to all those using Stealth and having success keep at it!

I'm no idiot

So you like to spar. OK, that might be fun, although your picture suggests that you are not much of a looker maybe you might make up for that in intellect......we'll see!!

You consider that I might be an idiot, but lets look at the facts.

This thread started in September 2007 and in that two and a half years there have been a total of 16 posts prior to my original one.

Apart from one post suggesting the 4 hour method, the rest were either looking for help or in the case of one, trying to slyly encourage people to beg for the "winning" system that is so much better than this one........see if you can guess which post I am refering to.

As far as I can see, and I see pretty good for an accussed idiot, nothing that I said in my original post was incorrect. There have been no successful traders posting anything to help those who are looking.

What I was suggesting was that since I know from personal experience that the support department at stealth really does go the extra mile to help all of their customers, it might be a good place to ask for some help.

If this makes me an idiot, then OK, I am an idiot. But if you find that you have to agree with me, then just maybe it is your good self who is mentally challenged.

Of course your trump card might be to go on to prove that you are a highly successful trader, but if you do so, I might just counter with the fact that until now, you too had not made a post on this thread.

Sergiel,

I'm sorry if you think that I was lecturing you, or indeed refering to you personally. That was not my intention and I was not suggesting that reading is a waste of time.

What I was trying to point out was that in general, there has been very little help on this thread because MOST and I stress MOST successful traders are too busy trading to visit forums and if you track back through this thread you will find that most people are SEARCHING for help rather than giving it.

My suggestion was to direct that search to the people who can and will give that help.

Anyhow, I have said what I believe to be valid and I certainly did not intend to start an anger release program, so I will bid adew to all.

I won't be back.

I think that some of you are going about this in completely the wrong way. What you need to realise is that most people who are profitably trading do not visit this (or any other) forum. The ones that do are generally the ones looking for help or they have another agenda - such as "you will find a good system, keep digging".........ahem, just ask me what the other system is wink, wink.
If you are not trading profitably with the stealth system, then you should contact support at stealth to ask for help. From my own personal experience I can honestly say that they will give you all of the help you need, but remember that trading is not an easy business. You do need to work at it – even with a trading system.
I do personally use the stealth system and I would rate it as amongst the best, but like many traders, I do not usually visit the forums. The only reason that I have done so today is that someone told me that there was a post slamming the stealth system, and since the staff at stealth helped me so much, I felt obliged to make this post.
I am NOT an affiliate of stealth but this does not stop me from recommending the system to others. When you think about it, just about every "paid for" trading system available on the market has an affiliate program so I do not believe that a product with an affiliate program is any indication of how good or bad that system is.
If you are not getting the best out of the stealth system, contact support. They helped me and I am certain that they will do everything that they can to help you too.
My only agenda here is to perform an honest review, I am a full time trader and I dont need to sell junk like Stealth to people who doesnt have a clue what forex really is...
Regarding the rest of your text I would put it in a "no comment" kind of thread....

Re:My only agenda here is to perform an honest review, I am a full time trader

Instead of ranting about the Stealth System and how bad it is, if you are a successful full time trader how about giving the rest of us the benefit of your experience and helping us with something that you feel does work.

I currently use two different trading systems, one of which is Stealth. I only trade during the London trading period and I only use the scalping method. I tried the 4 hour method, but I do not have the patience to stick with it.

With the scalping method you do need to understand and follow the rules extremely carefully and you do need to be in front of the screen all of the time, but that suits me fine. I only trade in the direction of the intermediate trend as per the Stealth recommendation. I have used the system for quite a while and when the pivot points were introduced it helped me a lot. If you are not yet using them I recommend that you ask for an upgrade.

I disagree that Stealth is rubbish but of course it may not suit everyone.

If it works for you why do you want to know what I use??
I am not going to post it here as like I said I am not willing to make free publicity to other systems, if you wanna know you can private me.

Strange that most of good reviews are always from new members....

I also would like to point that almost all the good stealth reviewers are new people that just joined in...On the other hand people who leave more careful and thorough reviews are usually more senior. Last example is the last post in this forum made by Stephanie who joined the FPA last Wednesday. It is just a funny coincidence that I wanted to point out....

That might not mean anything but its just a bit curious, at least for me...

Re: Strange that most of good reviews are always from new members....

I don't see it as strange. I cannot speak for others, but in my case I visited the site, saw the forum and joined. Simple as that.

You ask why I would be interested in any help if I am doing so well with stealth.

Well you are a self professed full time trader - why did you need to purchase a system?

I guess that most of us are always searching for something even better and no matter what system we use, we will still want to know how someone even more successful than us is doing it. That is the point of joining forex forums.

The difference with this forum is that none of the posters seem to have any interest in giving anyone any help.
