Stocks Rise After Fed Announcement

Stocks rise after the Fed announcement as investors were pleased to hear the bond program will end as planned in June. (Read more at Page Not Found - Millennium-Traders)

Economic data released today:

Durable Goods Orders:
February Durable Goods Excluding Transportation Revised to +0.6% from -0.6%; February Durable Goods Orders Revised to +0.7% from -0.6%; March Durable Goods Orders, Excluding -Defense, rose 2.3%; March Durable Goods Orders, Excluding -Transportation, rose 1.3%; U.S. March Durable Goods Orders +2.5%; Consensus rose 2.4%.

Chicago Fed:
March Resources Output rose 0.9% Month on Month; rose 3.4% Year on Year; March Machinery Output rose 1.6% Month on Month; rose 17.1% Year on Year; March Steel Output rose 2.3% Month on Month; rose 19.7% Year on Year; March Regional Auto Output rose 4.7% Month on Month; rose 20.3% Year on Year; March Midwest Manufacturing Index rose 1.9% on Month; rose 12.5% on Year on Year.

Crude Oil Inventories from the DOE:
