Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

S/L on Wrong Side of Price

In the live results for 2010.06.24 (and others), should not the S/L (Stop/Loss) be on the other side of the entry Price? SELL Price=1.04325, S/L=1.04265, T/P=1.04055, CLOSE Price=1.04265. For a SELL(Short), I thought the S/L should be greater than the SELL Price, e.g. 1.04400, etc.?

Hi AJ, the strategy sometimes uses a trailing stop. What your example shows is a trade hitting its trailing stop and closing. The trailing stop is essentially the stop loss. I hope that helps you understand what's going on here.

How often does the Edgefx live account report on this site update? It has not updated since 07:18 this morning and is not showing the current situation with the recent trade.

Hi there, it should update every 15 minutes. If it doesn't, it might be a good idea to wait an hour or so. It will be a FPA issue. Alternatively you can visit our site and check out our track performance.

Sorry we had this wrong. It should update hourly. Our mistake.

Consistency & Performance

Hello, I purchased the software and started testing it on a Demo account. My results were very simmilar to those published in FPA, which is a good sign of consistency, even though I am using a different broker.
On the other side, after some time testing it on a demo account, I decided to start using it on a real account. Results keep being the same than those published, although I had the bad luck of choosing the date when the first bad trade happened. Needless to say, this discouraged me, so I reduced the risk (lot size) to its minimum but left it on the real account.
The question that comes to mi mind after having experienced this is the following:
-- What makes this EA different from other popular scalpers that also have a high success rate and at the same time have high stop loss values ?
Thank you

Hi Jaime, Not sure if this is directed towards us or other users. First of all our stop losses are less than most other scalpers because our robot attempts to get in at better levels than other robots and thus doesn't need huge stop losses.
