There are no traders making a living from FX.

Wich Broker You use ,Please letus know.
Let me know too. They all seem to be "In House" brokers and all.
In other words, the money in their bank account is the traders money only. This is the money that you gamble with. If too many people win, then they go bang. Fortunately for them, too many people loose like me and they score.
This is why they use negative slippage and no positive slippage systems and freeze their platform when your trade is big time RED.
Geeze, man, where have you been?
I would suggest to go for the big Brokers like FXCM and AvaFx.
Bigger the better. Also check the country of registration and all. Then do more inquiries.

Bigger the better isn't really a good quality. Ikon and Forex.com are 2 of the biggest brokers both recently got caught cheating and fined by the NFA.

At least they are monitored. Beware of those that are not. Or are in Panama, Belize, Cyprus, Germany, Switzerland. I have not heard of those you mentioned but at this stage, I cannot agree with you. FXCM seems the largest Broker after teaming up with ODL.
Anyway, I would stick with USA, UK, Ire and AU. brokers.
My 2c worth.

I am now sooo sorry that I got into Forex, Sent $15K into brokers overseas and do not expect to see it again and all.
My big retirement fund that I am managing myself has done 96% on our stock exchange here in the last year. Want me to send you proof? Just ask and all.
This money I can withdraw. But can I withdraw from the Forex broker casinos?
Very dicey.
If your broker allows withdrawals, please PM me.

Broker against client

As mostly trader loose (about 90% or more) brokers will make more money when they trade against their clients. So i think that is the reason why they do so.

Have you actually got into the position of being in profit and trying to withdraw ?

Is this really a problem?

It's got to be a HUGE exception -- brokers that don't send money to account holders when they request it... It doesn't serve the broker's interests at all.

I have used a solid half-dozen brokers and never had issues making withdrawals.

So tell me Chaz, why have you not posted here on FPA about your withdrawals?
There are so many people here that are asking for traders to post their withdrawal experience from brokers.
I can only presume that you have not yet withdrawn PROFITS.
Put your money where your mouth is. Post your experience here on FPA in the brokers thread.
We are all eagerly waiting and all. Sleepless nights researching on the web and all while you have been studying the inside of your eyelids.
Prove me wrong please.

OK, I love a dare... uh... 'cept I don't understand what you are asking me. I have made dozens of withdrawals, almost always including profits. Is that so hard to believe? It's like saying, "I dare you to prove to me that you have successfully used an ATM at one of those computers in the wall at a bank!" It's ridiculous. Can you really be that cynical and/or unlucky? Not only have I made dozens of withdrawals, I have NEVER had a problem making a withdrawal. Some of the brokerages I have made withdrawals from are: IBFX (many times), Dukascopy (a few times), dbFX (one time), FXPro (many times), FXCM (a few times), Alpari (once), and ACM (many, many times).

I haven't had any real issues withdrawing profits from MBTrading or Forex.com , there is always the really annoying factor that occurs in nearly all finacial transactions, for example you make a purchase on your visa card , and that transaction is immediate , the product is defective and you get a refund but that refund takes days to arrive.

Not sure what it is but its an inherent fact of life i'e it takes longer to get the weight off than it does to get it on in the first place.

One cynical point i will make is any funds you have in their accounts will accrue interest , the longer its in the account the more interest is made.
This is one of the main reasons it takes so long to sell a house in the uk , the solicitors have the money in the account and milk it
