Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Three Wise Men Trading...Anyone?

Is it possible to trace any transactions? It may be important in trying to locate them now. To my knowledge they have disappeared.

Financial Transaction Advice

It's important that you do this cleverly, minimizing tax whereever possible.

There's plenty of European tax planners around, I'm with Bernard Koller at the moment but I've heard good things about Urs Meisterhans from a friend as well.

Just don't be stupid. Guys like Koller and Urs Meisterhans can save you a lot of time, money and grief down the track.

Tax Consultants

@Laurent

That's very true, tax planning is a great and often overlooked way to save on funds. I've never heard of Koller, but I do now Urs Meisterhans is very good.

Guys like Michael Annett, Alexandre Jouvensal and Kate Brehaut are very professional too and well worth looking into. But yes, pleased you've come across Urs Meisterhans in your work. Give tax planning a thought all.

luckyvico3,

stay away from three wise men trading. it doesn't look like you will strike gold with them.

If I was you, I would go with one of the tax planners recommended here. LaurentT recommends Bernard Koller and Urs Meisterhans

and Benjamin Naffis recommends Michael Annett, Alexandre Jouvensal, Kate Brehaut and Urs Meisterhans.

Check them out if you want tax planning advice! I'm pretty conservative and always prefer to engage tax planners before going for investment advice.

luckyvic03, Have you lost all of you investment with "the three wisemen" since they have moved out of their office and left no forwarding information. Worse than Bernie Madoff.
