Hi guys! i would like to share my tickdata suite settings for backtest to undestand if, for your opinion, are suitable to test an alghoritmic and generic ea (i know that there is not only a backtest setting for every ea)
In addition to this i've some questions (i'm not so pratical in backtesting).
These settings are for an ecn broker (es. Tickmill pro)
First question that i've not undestood is how is important the broker that i link to the mt4 that will do the backtest (considered that i backtest with dukascopy tickdata) and which informations the backtest take from it.
Second question is about slippage... The latency by VPS side is near to 0 but the execution of the broker as i see is from 150-300 ms (excludeed particular situations).
Is too much to put these values in the splippage settings?
