Can anyone recommend a good accounting software system to record FX Trades for year end US tax reporting which also records the ticket number and strategy used? I have looked at Stator [developed in Australia] which does not record the ticket number and CapTool which is quite expensive.

Depends on your platform. If you use MT4, that will give ticket numbers, profit, and loss. If you are trading manually, you can enter a comment as you open each trade and put your strategy there.
