Yes gambling is a dangerous way of trading with forex business. You will not get next chance if loose all of your capital . When one can do managed trading with managed risks why people take so much risk or do trading for do or die? Forex is not money machine where betting will produce bundles of earning. Here you use your own amount to take profit.

I completely agree with you, trading is a gamble for those who trade randomly or without any strategy. In real gamble no strategy works, but in the trading world there are lot of strategies which are profitable. So people who don't have any strategy, will call it a gamble.

Trading is not gambling if you have understood how the market works. You have to understand the basics and fundamentals of the forex world. It is a gamble if you invest in it without knowing what is forex trading. Am i right guys?

I completely agree with you. I think one should invest time and energy in educating oneself before they even begin trading.

@bigdolly the newbie should realize that there is no alternative to being skilled. The earlier one understands this, the better for him. And it takes time to be skilled. There is no short cuts. 1st one year focus on developing on your skills. Stop chasing pips. Be realistic.

Gambing is totally dependent on the luck and there is no strategy, analysis, and predictions. But trading is a technical business where you can predict the future on the base of your stiff analysis, knowledge, and strategy. Here history is the best teacher who can tell you the whole story. Thanks!

The defination of gambling is upto you. It is gambling if you have placed a bet without any time thinking about it. It is not gambling if you gain knowledge, experience and counter the technical aspects of forex trading. What do you guys think?
