As far as AUD CPI I would recommend focusing on Trimmed Mean. Would you agree?

The NZD iInterest Rate Statement result as the calendar should be 1700 not as stated 0900. Is there any last min changes in timing? Thanks

    Thanks

Hi thanks for the work u are doing. i have been trading these signals for about 2 months and i haven't had much success. i realized that the broker i use increases the spread up to 20 or more pips during the news release and every time i enter a trade it stops me out even wen the market moves by over 30 pips. is there a broker who provides fixed spreads at a commission or fee i can use?

Ssuuna: every broker who offers fixed spreads is a market maker. Widening of the spreads during the news times is essential for the true market and reflects it nature. However, there are many market makers outside that use to widen the spreads artificially just for the reason not allow their traders to profit during news (most likely this is your problem).

    You have to differ among:

    1) True ECN brokers (best option) - you pay commission, but you have no conflict of interest, therefore broker will not trade against you and use malicious tactics to restrain your trading. Spread widening is natural and reflects the market. Your funds should be safe as well (most of these companies are regulated and do not have a single intention to rob you off the money - but always make some research before joining any broker indeed).

    2) Market Makers with fixed spreads and no commission (the best option among the worst ones - I really do not recommend market makers).

    3) Market Makers with variable spreads and no commission (this is bull****, because they do not have to wide the spreads, because their market is virtual).

    4) Market Makers with variable spreads and a commission (the worst option to choose from) - stay completely away.

Anyhow, I recommend staying away from any market maker and choose ECN. Even if you find a market maker who fills you during the news time, they will soon realize that they are losing their money, because of you and start to do everything to destroy your profitable trading.

I wish you many pips and best luck, choose wisely and start looking for some ECN.

    Regards,

    koco

can somebody answer how to recognize ECN broker? Is there a list of the best ones? ECN broker is usually a bank or sth? I'm trading with AVAFX and they are probably market makers since I read that they can be difficult to deal with.
