Hey Folks:
We've got several high impact news releases scheduled for this week, and the most important ones are probably what's scheduled at the end of the week, namely the 2nd releases of quarterly GDPs from both UK and U.S.
Here's the list of this week's tradable releases:
1. Tue February 22, 2011 - 8:30am EST - CA Core Retail Sales
Historical Chart & Data
2. Wed February 23, 2011 - 4:30am EST - UK MPC Meeting Minutes
Historical Chart & Data
3. Wed February 23, 2011 - 10:00am EST - U.S. Existing Home Sales
Historical Chart & Data
4. Thu February 24, 2011 - 10:00am EST - U.S. New Home Sales
Historical Chart & Data
5. Fri February 25, 2011 - 4:30am EST - UK Revised GDP q/q
Historical Chart & Data
6. Fri February 25, 2011 - 8:30am EST - US Prelim GDP q/q
Historical Chart & Data
Aside from the above mentioned releases,we do have several breaking news developing as I am writing this post, and they are: Moody's just cut Japan's sovereign rating outlook to negative, a 6.3 magnitude Earthquake just hit ChristChurch NZ, and the situation in Syria is likely taking a turn for the worse... all of these are likely to affect the Forex market in addition to scheduled news releases, therefore I'd recommend that everyone use extreme caution and pay attention to any developing breaking news from the Middle Eastern region and the earthquake damage report from New Zealand.
Thank you,
