Please explain

Dearest Crazycat;

I am a newbie. I am receiving these forecasts and I see where you have usd as the currency you are trading. When I open up the currency pair shown is usd/jpy, does that mean the example that's shown is what is shown or do I choose which pair to trade? (ie, eur/usd?) Also do the colors of the candlesticks mean anything? I was thinking orange is a sell because of the direction. I guess I am just confused, lost etc. :confused:

Canadian GDP

Crazycat, why did you ignore CAD GDP? It made 31 pips and I regret that I wasn't trading it. Neither you, nor Sir Pipsalot mentioned this trade. Why? What was the reason?
