Economic data released today:

Nonfarm Payrolls:
U.S. April Nonfarm Payrolls rose 290K; Compared to Consensus of an increase by 180K; April Nonfarm Payroll Increase is Largest Since March 2006; U.S. April Manufacturing Payrolls rose 44K; Service-Producing rose 225K; U.S. March Payrolls Revised to rise 230K from an increase by 162K; April Census Temporary Hiring rose 66K; U.S. April Government Payrolls rose 59K; Federal rose 65K.

Unemployment Rate:
U.S. March Unemployment Left Unrevised at 9.7%; U.S. April Unemployment Rate 9.9%; Compared to Consensus 9.7%.

Average Hourly Earnings (MoM):
U.S. April Average Hourly Earnings rose 0.01 to $22.47.

Average Weekly Hours:
U.S. April Overall Workweek rose 0.1 Hour to 34.1 Hours.

Consumer Credit:
U.S. March Consumer Credit Increased $2.0B; March Credit-Card Use Falls 18th Consecutive Month; February Consumer Credit Revised to Down $6.2B from Down $11.5B.
