Yes, Im sure you are right, but the migration form MT4 to MT5 is expensive when EA's need to be recoded and the learning of a new platform is a little daunting at my age.
Still I might need to give this serious consideration...
Presently I backtest two years and check survival back three years. But I split the pairs into 5 seperate accounts so that if i have a blow up the max DD is 20%. This is my way of managing the risk and safely running aggressive EA's.
I used to backtest for max profit, now I backtest to a profit target at minimum risk.

How does the cost compare getting it totally recoded for MT5 vs what the source coder is asking for to relook at his own work?
