What brokers are good for straddling news?

If you're going to say there are no good brokers for trading news don't bother to reply. there are some and there are ways of testing each broker to see if the spread widens. to see if the platform freezes or if there is a ton of slippage during high impact news. i'm not asking for perfection im asking for some who arent as bad at manipulating than others.

I think a good broker is a good broker regardless of which strategy you are planning on using so I would recommend that you find a good broker and you should be fine.

There are no good brokers for trading news.

In reality, you can trade the news. You need a real ECN broker with good liquidity. Of course, the lot size you plan to trade will make a difference. Trading 1 lot during the news is one thing. Trading 20 or more could add partial fills on top of requote and slippage issues.
