I would not limit my self with the time on demo account. You have to demo trade until you are making consistent profit. Then I would go for a cent account with 25 and then 250 and the 2500. You start each step after you have gained consistent profit on the previous one. Dont be in a hurry to give your money away. remember that 95% of traders lose.

It never hurts to start small, yes couple 100$ would be great, and still that's after using demo accounts for a long while and making sure you have a solid strategy that fits you and your account.
And hi, im new to this forum as well (not to fx! :D )

If you are confident and have good experience of demo trading then you should start the real trading and for real trading 200$ is pretty good amount as you can do better with this amount, so don’t wait more, start your real trading with this amount.

In my opinion always start with small amount so that the broker processes like withdrawals etc should also be tested.

After completing the demo trading with full sincerity we should start the real trading with at least amount 150-200 USD, you are thing quite right and you should start this business with 200$ as it is sufficient amount and you can survive efficiently with this amount.

It is right decision to complete demo trading first because it is a base of trading on which you will try your live trading . The rules which you practiced on demo will helpful in real trading . The amount should be proper to take a start as you mentioned $200 is ideal amount for starters.

As a starter we should invest small amount that will not effect on our pocket in case of loss. As $100 to $200 is enough amount that will give you an experience of real trading , It can motivate you if you do successful trading with this amount.

I agree with you, indeed in start a trader should only invest little amount as first investment will surely be going to be a loss.
