Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Just curious to see what the most popular MT4 brokers are at this time.

Your reasons for being with your broker would likewise be much appreciated.

I like TadawulFX but they no longer support american clients. They had decent fixed spreads and high leverage up to 500:1, were regulated by CySec, and had a lot of nice commodities options.

I'm currently looking into either GFT (USA) or SmartTradeFX (HongKong) to replace them but I haven't decided yet, and am still just using practice accounts to feel each one out.

Another Broker to Check

Matt,
You may want to check out Trading-Point, which is also out of Cyprus, but is accepting (and supposedly keeping) US accounts. You can also check them out on Forex Factory, as there is an extensive (and, I believe positive) forum on this broker. Personally, I have opened 2 live accounts with them and am in the process of funding them.
Good luck

Trading Point has recently got sued by the US CFTC: http://www.cftc.gov/ucm/groups/publ...nts/legalpleading/enftpfilcomplaint090711.pdf

I am currently with the Finnish broker FinFX, no complaints so far.

I would stick to FCA brokers, such as IG, Activtrades, Phillipcapital UK, FXCM. All offer MT4
