There are EAs, both commercial and non-commercial out there.

Check the FPA's Performance Tests and you can see how many of the wiped out accounts. Don't even think of buying one until you study the whole concept more carefully.

This is akin to sitting down in the cockpit for your first flying lesson, hitting autopilot, and then heading to the first class section to share a drink with the cute blonde in the second row. You don't even know how or why autopilot works, or what it does when its working. You don't even know how to fly a plane if it stops working. That plane will crash every time.

The capabilities of any piece of software depend on the effort and skill of the programmers who write it.

MQL isn't going to allow for a high degree of intelligence in the software. Most EAs tend to have one narrow strategy and to not even check to see if the market is in the correct mode for the strategy to work. For example, a bunch of gold trading EAs crashed and burned earlier this year since all they did was buy on pullbacks. A big market correction, combined with a lack of SL wiped them out. Trend following robots tend to take a beating during reversals, large pullbacks, and ranging markets. Range trading robots can have issues when a strong trend starts.

The blonde girl is a ruse. She is not real. She's Agent Smith.

Don't trust any commercial EA's. It is not logical to sell an EA. Would you sell your golden goose? The ones that may work are one's you make yourself (not likely) or ones designed by PhD's in the bio-sciences or math. These don't make it out of companies too often and aren't set it and forget it EA's They are well managed advisers that help REAL PEOPLE trade, not your trading platform. Total waste of time and money, in my opinion.

    Here's a thread about it.
