I agree with you, discipline is the key here. Many traders spend many years in market but still they lack discipline and lack the ability to make money from forex.

Most businesses are hard to learn of you're not disciplined and organized, Forex is hardly an exception, but in this particular case discipline is really one of the most important factors.

You are right, many trader think that they will learn by themselves but they keep on repeating the same mistakes over and over again. They think that once they make it big they will start trading seriously but they never make it big with such attitude.

After many time spent in forex traders realize what was their weak area in forex. learn trading by self is a lengthy process that demands patience and courage . Because we do many mistakes and loose money in forex.

Actually I think that virtually all traders lose money sooner or later. The whole point of successful trading is to have more profit than loss.

When a newbie sees big profit made by a guru trader, he also tries to follow him. The reality is that guru trader has reached that level after a lot of hard work, whereas newbie tries to gamble his money in order to gain more, this is the reason why mostly fail and lose money.
